I have been sewing since I was in high school. Thanks to a wonderful Home Economics Teacher. I love to make things, anything and everything. I have made bridesmaid dresses, flower girls, christening gowns, outfits for weddings and parties, Quilts, curtains. You name it I have probably made it, OK, I have never made a wedding dress.
More recently I was making uniform wash bags for NHS staff and lots and lots of face masks! a couple of hundred at last count!
That’s how the Etsy shop came about, I was making a lot of little things in lockdown and I made a set of wedding face masks for my neice’s friend and then others asked me for masks so I started the shop as an easy way to manage and something to do with all my sewing!
Wedding masks and face masks have now been sent literally all over the world. USA, Australia, Germany, France, Austria, England and of course Scotland.
I feel happy to think that during this horrible situation my little wedding masks brought a smile to some couples on their wedding day.
